Day 1: Arrive in Kigali international Airport
Upon your arrival at Kigali international Airport, you will be welcomed by our professional driver guide who will later transfer you to your pre-booked lodge/hotel in Kigali for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Kigali City Cycling Tour
After your early morning breakfast, you will meet our experienced driver guides and the doctor who will be with you on this safari. Thereafter, embark on Kigali Cycling City tour. The tour will take you through Gisozi genocide memorial center where you will have time to listen to the comprehensive history of Rwanda during the 1994 genocide and the events of the massacres, including personal accounts. You will view the Photographs, video clips, and artifacts of the genocide. After touring the site, you will proceed to other attractive sites within the city and after have lunch in any of the hotels in Kigali. Embark on an afternoon Cycling City tour to explore religious places, the local markets, and the city center. Return to the lodge after the activity for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer from Kigali-Byumba
Following an early morning Breakfast, transfer to Isangano lodge which will be your starting point of cycling tour on this third day. The tour will lead you to several local communities, where you will have an opportunity to interact with the local Rwandans, orphanage groups to meet with the parentless children kept in orphanage group, local Rwandan schools. Thereafter, have stopover for Lunch and after lunch, advance with the adventure activity. You are advised to keep on the right hand side of the road while biking on the most roads in Rwanda. After being filled with adventure experience, retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Byumba-Kidaho
After an early morning breakfast, depart Byumba heading to Kidaho. The route to Kidaho will take you through the major tea growing area with beautiful terraced hillsides that characterize much of Rwanda`s landscape. You will still enjoy the early morning traffic as you pass through this area using minor roads.

Day 5: Do Gorilla Trekking and Cultural encounters.
After an early morning hearty breakfast, you will be driven by your driver guide to the park headquarters for a briefing at 8:00am regarding gorilla trekking etiquettes in Volcanoes Park. While at the park headquarters, you will meet other trekkers and you will be divided in groups of eight individuals who are allowed to trek one habituated mountain gorilla group. After briefing, you will be led by ranger guide to hike through the verdant jungle searching for mountain gorillas. The activity which will take 2-8 hours needs someone to be physical fit since it involves hiking the hills and slopping the Valleys. Gorilla trekking process is tedious but impressive when you finally set your small eyes direct to bit big round eyes of the mountain gorillas. When you eventually meet the gorillas, you will be allowed one hour with them, seeing them feed, play and look for their young ones. While staying with the gorillas, you will be required to maintain a distance of 7 meters away, also turn off the flash of your camera as you take pictures. Right after one hour, you will retire back to the starting point and transfer to your lodge for late lunch and relaxation. After lunch, you will embark on an evening cultural encounter with the local communities around volcanoes national park. The cultural encounter will give you a rare opportunity to interact with the local people in their natural environment, with a taste of their unique culture and traditions. On arrival to the village, you will be genuinely welcomed by the community as special Visitors. After cultural refreshment, entrainment, you will retire back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ruhengeri-Kisoro in Uganda
After hearty breakfast in your Ruhengeri lodge, embark on transfer drive of 68km from Ruhengeri to Mgahinga Gorilla Park in south western Uganda. The drive journey will take you through undulating land forms of Rwanda before crossing Cyanika boarder to impressive landscape sceneries of south western part of Uganda. On arrival to Kisoro, you will advance to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Early Morning Golden tracking & Batwa trail
After an early morning breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for an early morning briefing about the etiquettes to follow when trekking the golden monkeys in the hilly forested areas of Mgahinga national park. After briefing, UWA Ranger guides will lead you to Gahinga trail head to start the trek. You will start the hike through stunning bamboo forests to see these attractive and endangered primates. Once-up close to the golden monkeys, you will be allowed one hour to spend with these striking creatures. After the one hour, you will retreat to the starting point and thereafter drive back to the lodge for refreshment and lunch. After lunch, embark on exploring the Batwa trail. The Batwa Trail is such an incredible experience as it takes you through the thick forests of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. During this Batwa trail tour, the Batwa local guide will demonstrate to you their hunting techniques; how they used to gather honey; point out medicinal plants and demonstrate how to make bamboo cups. The tour will lead you to sacred Garama Cave- once home to the Batwa King, where the women of the community perform a sorrowful song which echoes eerily around the depths of the dark cave, and leaves you with a striking and moving sense of the richness of this fading culture. Thereafter fully exploring the Batwa trail, you will retire back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Kisoro Cycling &Ride to Kabale town
After breakfast, you will start a morning cycle tour through the villages and some hills where the trail is mixed of dirt and tarmac roads. Along the way you will enjoy scenic views of beautiful hill farms and also enjoy stunning views of lakes Mutanda and Bunyonyi .The route to Kabale will take you through Bamboo forest and on arrival, you will advance with the ride to your pre-booked Kabale Lodge to check-in, have dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Kabale Cycling and Afternoon Ride Lake Bunyonyi
After an early morning breakfast, embark on ride to visit the Bakiga local homesteads and other interesting places like the market places where you can purchase local fruits, crafts shops. Thereafter, have stopover for Lunch in any of the Kabale town hotels and in the afternoon ride to Lake Bunyonyi a challenging 470m climb over 12kms on the a tarmac road. Along the way, you will enjoy the scenic views of the southwestern Uganda and come to appreciate why Uganda is nicked named the pearl of Africa. On arrival to Lake Bunyonyi, you will ride direct to your lodge to check-in, relax, have dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi
Have an early morning breakfast and thereafter, embark boat cruise to visit the small dotted panoramic islands that characterize Lake Bunyonyi. You will also visit local schools, orphanage groups. Afterwards have Lunch and in the afternoon embark on cultural encounter with the Batwa community to enjoy their cultural performances and thereafter retire back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Transfer to Kampala/ Entebbe airport
After taking relaxed breakfast in your Lake Bunyonyi Lodge, you will embark on drive transfer from Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala drive distance of 437 kilometers about 7-8hours without enroute stopover. The drive will take you through the impressive country side landscapes with rural setting and local population. After covering distance drive of 199 kms, you will have stopover for traditional lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre 12kms past Mbarara town. After lunch, you will proceed with the drive passing through Mpabire drum makers in Mpigi and Uganda Equator Crossing at Kayabwe where you will have stopover for marvelous water experiments, photo shot and visit to Africa craft shops. Thereafter, you will continue with the drive to Kampala. Upon your arrival at Kampala, the driver guide will drive you to Entebbe international Airport for your onward flight back home.
