3 Days Uganda Sipi Falls and Jinja Bungee Jumping Safari Tour – Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Sipi falls & Afternoon Cultural Encounter.

After a cup of Coffee from your Kampala place of stay, the driver guide will pick you up and embark on transfer to Sipi falls in the eastern direction from Kampala 272kms about 4-5hours drive.

The drive journey to sipi falls will take you through small townships of Mukono were you can also find Ssezibwa falls one of the famous Buganda Heritage Sites where many natives flock for blessings, wealth, and fortunes, Mabira Forest which is the beautiful forest with over 300 species of birds as well as numerous and some endangered species of butterfly, monkeys, plants and trees, to the Farmed lands of Lugazi with tea and sugarcane plantations ,cross the Nile to Jinja town dubbed the adventure city of Uganda.

You will make short stopover at Jinja in place where Nalubalaale Hydroelectric Power Station crosses the white water Nile and here you will enjoy the views and sights of the Nile, the green lush vegetation on the banks of the Nile, sights of the Jinja town.

Thereafter continue with the drive to Mbale town through Iganga and Busembatia towns. Arrive in Mbale town for Lunch and continue to Sipi falls.

On arrival to Sipi falls, you will drive to your lodge to check-in and spend one hour relaxing before driving to the nearby Bagisu community for marvelous cultural encounter.

The encounter comes with the pride of meeting the Sipi Widows’ Group that can take you on guided walk passing through the plantations of coffee as they illustrate how coffee is planted, picked, grinded and finally washed making it ready for sell.

Meet the Bugisu farmers who are famous for producing the best washed Arabica in Uganda and Kenya. Thereafter retreat back to your lodge for dinner and Over Night.

Day 2: Hike to Sipi Falls and Transfer to Jinja Town

You will wake-up early, take your breakfast, and embark on a lovely hike to Sipi falls. The hike is too magnificent as you move to the bottom of the splendid three waterfalls.

You will proceed with a quick steep climb to a series of stunning caves. As you proceed to the perplexing trail to the other waterfalls, you will pass through banana plantations.

After exploring the falls, retire to your lodge for an enjoyable lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on the transfer drive from Sipi falls to Jinja town.

The drive journey of about 4-5hours will take you through Mbale town, a charming town full of rich heritage and fascinating culture.

With some beautiful view points on our way, you will reach Jinja town marvel at the splendid river. On arrival to Jinja town, you will drive to your pre-booked lodge to check-in, relax, have dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Early Morning Bungee Jumping and White-water Rafting on The Nile & Transfer to Kampala

Following an early morning breakfast in your Jinja place of stay, embark on an adventurous 44m plunge into River Nile at Nile High Bungee.

From a steel platform which soars above the cliffs which tower over the deep, fast-flowing river, you take your thrilling jump.

The view from above is scary and of course you get the jitters but it is much safer than you would think.

Afterwards, retire back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. After lunch, embark on the day’s main adventure of white water rafting.

Enjoy the most thrilling white water rafting at different grade stages. The white water rafting begins with a comprehensive briefing and the fitting of life jackets and helmets.

The rafting is done on a 10 kilometer stretch of the Nile River. The first few rapids are low grade (1, 2) and give clients a sense of confidence.

As the river meanders through beautiful scenery, the rafts are guided into the mighty challenges of the best “grade 5” rapids on the Nile.

Eight major rapids are rafted plus lower graded runs to maximize the adrenaline rush of this adventure. Return from the activity and embark on the transfer drive back to Kampala reaching late evening, before being transferred to Entebbe international airport for your flight back home.
