This Uganda Rwanda Congo safari takes you to some of the most interesting areas of these countries including the Great Lakes Region.
On this safari in Congo, you will visit the lush rainforest of Nyungwe National Park, while there, you will have chance to encounter with its unique primates, as well as do a canopy walk above the forest canopies.
You will cross to Congo where you will encounter with the endangered Eastern Lowland gorillas in Kahuzi Biega National Park’s tropical rain forest. Our Uganda Rwanda Congo tour will start in Rwanda and end in Uganda or will end at a destination you would wish to.
Day 1: Kigali – Nyungwe Forest National park – Canopy Walk – Gisakura
Day 2 : Nyungwe Forest – Chimpanzee Trek – Bukavu
Day 3: Eastern Lowland Gorilla trekking (g. g. graueri)

Day 5: Lake Kivu – to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 6: Do a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park and a boat cruise along Kazinga channel
Day 7: Day Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and do a boat cruise along the Lake
Day 8: Do an early morning game drive in the park, have lunch and do a horse-riding safari in the park
Day 9: Have a relaxed breakfast at the lodge set off for Kampala to your hotel or the airport with a stopover at the Equator
Early morning after your breakfast at the lodge or hotel, you and your driver-guide will set off for Nyungwe Forest National Park Rwanda.
With an area of about 970 km², these highlands provide a unique habitat for over thirteen species of primates, including chimpanzees, l’Hoest’s, colobus monkeys and owl-faced monkey.
You will arrive at the park headquarters for your chimpanzee trekking safari briefing by the park rangers that starts at 8 am.
After your briefing about the dos and the don’ts of the Rwanda chimpanzee trekking safaris, you will be led into the forest in search for the chimpanzees.
Later in the afternoon after your lunch, you will go for your canopy walk that lasts about 2hours. Return and proceed to back to your lodge.

You will have a relaxed breakfast at your hotel/ lodge in the morning. After your breakfast, you will set off for your nature walk in the Nyungwe forest, have a short study about the trees in the forest, do a simple birding safari Rwanda.
Retire from the activity, have lunch and drive through extensive tea plantations to Cyangugu, a small harbor on Lake Kivu and cross Rusizi River to Bukavu in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Have breakfast at your lodge and transfer to the Kahuzi-Biega National Park Congo a World Heritage site. Kahuzi Biega National Park is a vast area of primary tropical forest dominated by two spectacular extinct volcanoes, Kahuzi and Biega, covered with diverse and abundant fauna.
This Park is home to some of the last groups of eastern lowland gorillas living between 2100 and 2400 m above the sea-level.
Early in the morning after your breakfast at the lodge, you will set off to the park headquarters for your Congo gorilla trekking safari briefing, after the briefing, you will go into the forest to search for the gorillas with the help of a ranger and trackers.
These gorillas are characterized with black coats, and the males develop silverbacks as they mature. Searching for them may take several hours ranging from 2-4 or even more depending on where the gorillas will be located.
Coming across a group in its particular habitat is an inspiring moment and once you spot them, you will be restricted to one hour with them.

Set out with your bag packs in the morning after your breakfast and go for your Nyiragongo hike. Hike and arrive at your place of stay, relax, dine and rest

After your leisurely breakfast at your place of stay, set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Your journey will take about 6 hours to cross the border to Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda. Arrive and check-in your lodge, dine and relax.
Your driver-guide will pick you in the morning at the lodge after your breakfast at the lodge, drive you along the Kasenyi trail for your game drive in the park. you will several animals and birds during your game drive like the Uganda kobs, antelopes as well as several numbers of birds.
Return to your lodge for proper breakfast, have lunch there and after go to the Kazinga channel for your boat cruise along this river that connects Lake Edward to Lake George.
As part of your adventure, you will see several birds and water animals during your 2 hours cruise including the hippos, crocodiles and other animals along the banks to quench their thirst.
Early in the morning, after your breakfast, you will set off for your Uganda wildlife safari in Lake Mburo National Park.
Arrive in the park, check-in your lodge and have lunch and later head for your boat cruise along the Lake where the par derived its name.
Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and set out for your game drive in the park to catch the early morning risers in the park. you will see animals like eland antelopes, waterbucks, zebras, impalas and many more.
Return to the lodge, have lunch and later go for your horse-riding safari in the afternoon and get yourself to these animals in the park. Retire and return to the lodge rest and dine.
Have relaxed breakfast, pack and set off for Kampala to your airport or at your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala.
You will break your journey with a stopover at Igongo Cultural Center in Mbarara for lunch and at the Equator in Kayabwe for photos and water experiment and after you will head to Kampala arriving late in the evening.
